Toddler IQ Puzzle Description
The game offers three types of puzzles:1. Animal shapes: with this puzzle game your toddler will learn the names and sounds of lots of animals as they match up images to their outline.
2. Basic shapes: this puzzle game uses mathematical basic shapes like triangle, circle and square to name but a few. Your toddler will hear the name of the shape when he starts dragging them and will be rewarded with funny sounds when he or she matches up the shape to its outline.
3. Colour matching: recognition of colours is a very important step in the development of your child; the purpose of this puzzle is to match up two circles that have the same colour. As with the mathematical basic shapes, your toddler will hear the name of the colour and be rewarded with funny sounds when he matches the correct colours.
Moreover, it comes in three languages (Soon French will be added too):

2. Dutch
3. Afrikaans
The educational aspect:
The game is meant for tots and toddlers as an aid to the cognitive learning process that every child naturally goes through. It is about recognizing of matching shapes, very similar to the wooden puzzles that we have been using for decades and which your child enjoys so much.
In the present day, technology can help in expanding and improving the benefits of these puzzles, that have proven their usefulness over the years! Just remember though that these wooden puzzles, because of their tangible nature, are still very important in the development of your child. They teach different feelings of texture among other things.
The word 'cognition': involving conscious intellectual activity, means that any action needs to be accompanied with thought. A newly bought wooden puzzle does this perfectly because your toddler needs to think and search for the correct shapes. Soon though, the puzzle becomes a part of their routine; your child knows the position of all the shapes and places them from memory rather then from active thought. This is still a very good exercise, but the cognitive aspect of the puzzle has been mostly spent.
An electronic puzzle board can change continuously and therefore can keep the cognitive aspect relevant for a longer time and your tots and toddlers will be able to keep their interest vested in the game for a longer period of time. By consistently repeating the names of the shapes and colours the game will also stimulate the auditory subconsciousness. We believe this makes sense even for more difficult names like rhombus or heptagon.
The game works best with the help and supervision of the parents. Playing and learning is something a child does best under stimulation of love and patience; nothing is more enjoyable then a cuddle or an enthusiastic cheer of mommy and daddy when there little treasure does something great!
